Although it’s unusually cold for Mother’s Day today, the hot weather is right around the corner.  There were  A/C repair calls on Friday – and time for those with service contracts to have their Spring HVAC checks.   Things that tenants should do: de-winterize your outdoor spigots, change your furnace filters, cut the grass and weed flower beds.  Things owners should consider – HVAC check-ups, prepare for maintenance projects you’ve been putting off (such as repairing decks or restaining, fresh mulch in flower beds).   Always something to do.  Meanwhile, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all!

George and Betty are excited to announce that we’ve moved our real estate practice up from RE/MAX Allegiance to RE/MAX Executives!   Our new location in Springfield VA  places us conveniently in the center of our real estate and property management practice.   With the recent addition of a full-time property technician, Jay, we now offer faster response to tenant and owner concerns, including free courtesy calls to tenants to help them with questions about the home,  and reduced service charges to owners for minor repairs.

We’re moving!   In order to provide a more centralized location for our clients, we’re moving our physical office from Franconia to Springfield.  Our offices are now located upstairs at

Rent checks should no longer be dropped at the Franconia office.  We prefer to set up Direct Debit with our tenants.  Our 5810 Kingstowne Center Dr. #120 address in Alexandria remains the same – this is our UPS drop-box location, not our offices.
